Capri Taylor
Capri A. Taylor is the creator of Minding My Alignment, a therapist by training, but at the end of the day a human also navigating her own shifts, detours, and growing pains just like everyone else. While she spends her days supporting others, many of her insights actually come through moments shared with others, the questions people ask, the patterns she notices, and the way life has a habit of revealing wisdom right in the middle of her trying to explain, summarize, or reframe something for someone else. More than a few people have told her, “I wish I could hear from you between sessions,” and this podcast hopefully, the manageable and accessible way to offer that space.
Capri believes alignment isn’t a destination you arrive at and stay. It’s a moving target you keep checking in on as life keeps lifein’. Through marriage, motherhood, major transitions, loss, healing, and a whole lot of starting over, she’s learned how important it is to have a space where you can breathe, be honest, laugh a little, and reconnect with yourself.
Here, she leads from the middle. talks through her own lessons, her own missteps, and the large or small moments that remind her to pause and realign. She channels her inner Rafiki, her self proclaimed therapy spirit animal, and she leans into her long standing dream of being a new age Frasier Crane, offering conversation, reflection, and grounding without the radio static.
Minding My Alignment isn’t therapy, but it is honest, relatable, and created with deep intention. Capri shows up as she is, Real, human, reflective, growing… and invites listeners to do the same, minding their own alignment one conversation at a time.
